The Price Of Sin/The original sin P2

Last week we looked at how the original sin affect Adam and Eve, this week we are going to look at how the original sin affected the rest of creation.

Adam was given dominion over all creation so when Adam sinned against God he took all of creation with him. - Genesis 1:26 "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth."

The beauty and harmony of creation was disrupted. - Genesis 3:14 "And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:"

Genesis 3:17-18"And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;"

Sin comes at a cost to everyone and everything around us, it changes the very environment, payday for sin’s commission may not be today but rest assured its wages will be paid. Luckily for us God has provided a remedy for sin, His Son Jesus Christ.

-John 1:29
