The Price of Sin P1(The Original Sin)

Sin is incredibly expensive....the price however is not paid in gold. its paid in death, eternal death, everlasting separation from God - Romans 6:23, and no amount of wealth, pleading or works could substitute its price. the only acceptable payment is the blood of Jesus Christ.

How it all started:

Let go to the book of Genesis....In the beginning God created man (both male and female) in His image and likeness, He gave them FREE WILL and dominion over everything on earth. After some time man decided to exercise their free will in opposition to Gods word.

What it cost them:

⦁ Sin cost them their lives - But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. - Genesis 2:17

⦁ Sin cost them their fellowship with God - Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.

So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life. - Genesis 3:23-24

Sin brought them pain - Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; - Genesis 3:16-17

In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return. - Genesis 3:19

Sin always has consequences
