As humans we are subject to experience different emotions or character and sometimes these characters/emotion don't align with God's nature. So we have to put death to our fleshly nature, for if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: - Romans 8:13
Gossip- Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor. - Exodus 20:16
Bitterness- Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: - Ephesians 4:31
Living in the past- Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. - Isaiah 43:18-19
Anger- But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. - Colossians 3:8
Lust- Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body. - 1 Corinthians 6:18
Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: - Colossians 3:5
